Ur loop is wrong, u cant start at bottom and work it up. The best way to loop ur system is to start with cpu, then gpu and so, cause now ur pump will work his ass off just to startt with gpu's and then cpu and then down again.

That isn't true.

A loop is a single closed system. The effect of gravity on the pump is virtually the same regardless of which direction you plumb it. The reason for this is that the fluid will ultimately return back to the pump. Whether the fluid flows downward at the start of the loop or the end of the loop makes little difference since at some point the fluid will have to flow down.

Think of a syphon. As long as the end of the hose is lower than the source, the fluid will flow through the syphon regardless of how much it has flow upwards at some portion of the syphon.

Let's say you have a 10 foot length of hose. Lets say you pump fluid with the hose in two different ways -- A and B.

In configuration A:
The fluid is pumped up 5 feet and then back down 5 feet.

In configuration B:
The fluid is pumped straight sideways 10 feet.

Which configuration is easier on the pump? Which configuration is harder on the pump?

Both configurations produce exactly the same amount of work. Neither is harder or easier on the pump.

Work = Force x Distance

Gravity is part of the force in this discussion. But since the vertical distance affected by gravity remains the same regardless of the direction of plumbing the loop, the force of gravity on the pump is the same.


Consider two five pound weights hanging from a pulley. Is it easier to push up on one of the weights or down on the other? It is just as easy to do either.

I've got the same case and did an extensive amount of modding on mine.

- First thing I think you should do is paint the interior so you don't have the shiny finished metal staring at you.

- A quad radiator in the bottom takes full advantage of all the space that you have in the basement of the case; a 2x or 3x rad doesn't take full advantage of the case.

- The tubing is kind of cluttered with the big loops right in the middle of the case.

Other than those few things, I really like the case. It has a lot of potential. Black & blue color theme is great but, some more blue highlights would extenuate the color contrast. I'm currently saving up for the rest of my mod which I'll complete at the end of this year.
