Well its fast, maybe not a fast as some of the latest and greatest hard ware but for a year old PC built on a budget it does quite well. It contains a fully water cooled Opteron 144 overclocked by 800Mhz to 2.61Ghz. My CPU will go a lot higher up to above 3Ghz if you increase the voltages, but I am not quite brave enough to leave it at this high settings and temperature so I have compromised with 2.61Ghz. Saying that I am very happy with my very high GPU overclock of 533Mhz compared to the standard 425Mhz.
My water cooling loop consists of Pump - CPU - Duel 120mm Radiator – North Bridge – GPU – Single 120mm Radiator – Reservoir then back to the pump. This loop is quite effective and allows all the fans to be switched off when idle. Though I haven’t got round to doing this wiring job yet.
I am running a duel 1600x1200 monitor set up consisting of two 19" Flat CRT’s. they are crystal clear in games and looks great at this resolution. My favorite game is FARCRY which this PC can play with all the settings maxed out. Over all I think my PC looks great and I do go on about it quite a lot which my girlfriend isn’t very happy about.
