To view this case mod, go here.

Specs:
- I7 875k Overclocked @ 4Ghz (with HT) Watercooled
- Motherboard = Sabertooth 55i
- RAM = 8GB Gskill Ripjaws (1600mhz) OCed@ 2000mhz
- 1xAsus GTX670 directcuii
- PSU = Antec TPQ 1200w
- Case FANs: 2x200mm, 4x120mm, 1x140mm (all LEDs)
- Cable Management done
- 2x Cathod Lights (Red and Blue)

Mods:
Window Mod: I cut a hole in the side panel so we can see the interior of the PC from the outside. I added Red and Blue Ligthing to match with the colors of the Case and the fans.

This PC kicks ass and can max any game out there at the moment and for quite a while.

I absolutly Love building PCs. So I'm thinking of selling it to build a new one.

Looks very nice. Are you going to sleeve those cables? But I really like that red&blue scheme. :)

Excuse me... This is a "CASE GALLERY" not a "Case Mod Gallery". Look at the top of the page and you'll see. Also, be indulgent!

This is my first personal Computer ever... and I just felt proud of my recent building of this computer from 0 knowledge on how to assemble PCs and 0 knowledge on how to Overclock. I did it all by myself, read FOR HOURS on the internet to find out how to do this...

Looking at your User picture on the left... Your Case doesn't look like much of a mod either...

Well.... Everybody else, what do you think about this PC? I'm opened to suggestions.

Thank you FOG about the sleeves suggestions... I didn't even know about those. I'm gonna look into that ;O)

That red and blue looks real nice together. Sleeving the cables will take it to another level. Still Great job!!! Nice build.

No mod, looks fair, owner not open to constructive criticism, doesn't check worklog before saying "no mod" on other people's computer...

Well, like I said, this is a Case Gallery not a mod gallery. I went to see your worklog... and I was wrong about the amount of work I thought was put into your case...

Obviously, you've done some serious work on your RIG... Since I'm new to owning computers and overclocking and the like... I am more impressed when I see some of the Case Mods I've seen the Case Gallery that involve "literally changing the Case appearance" into a theme... like say a "Call of Duty themed Case" or something of the like...

So when I saw you case, I didn't feel like it was screaming "Hey look at me, I'm modded"... Your Mod is more of a "Performance Mod"... Fan mods, Heatsink adds, Improvised window...

To be honest, that's stuff I wouldn't even know how to do... it's impressive. As for me, I've bought a case that is "designed so well towards performance" that I don't feel the need to cut holes in it, or modify fans (Because the case takes care of cooling very well) And I don't need to build more Chassis for HDDs and Drives because there are plenty in it...

EDIT: Oh... and 1 more thing: I just thought about how long it would take to build a Case Mod with the following: Cable Sleeving, Fan Modding, Case Modding, Adding lights, putting water cooling in it (the big thing unlike my build...), resizing cables and fine tuning everything to the last detail...

When you come to think about it: This represents A LOT of HOURS of work..... and then I think: You know what sucks about technology (which we all have to deal with) It improves so fast that my little NZXT PC will be out-of-date (techwise) in a few years... I'll have to swtich my PSU around... the GPU and or the RAM...

So if I spend a LIFETIME modding this Rig, what would be the point if in about 4 years I have to change everything in it to be up-to-date?... Makes you think...

And as for the looks... well I think the NZXT phantom already looks good... Althought I do intend to build Modded Cases of my own in the future, when I gain further experience ;O)

sleeving = 1 day (with the right, even basic tools), you might want to sleeve only "visible" cables to not consume a lot of time..
modding = window? 1 hour probably...
fan modding = an hour at most (though not a lot of people would do it)...
adding lights = figuring out where to place them would take a while (trial an error to get the best lighting effect).
water cooling = along with bleeding would take about a day (you don't really need to run the leak test for 24 hours)
resizing cables = not sure what you meant with this...
fine tuning everything = more than a week :)

gave you a 6. just because you dont have your colors done right. i dont mean the paintjob. the work itself is flawless. but the choice of colors and the parts you choose to color them were just wrong. for example you should have used red fans, even if you wanted to keep the blue fans, you should have made the black portions red and red portions black, theres to much red and its kinda looking odd and unbalanced.

other than that its seriously a good job indeed.

You do realize I haven't painted anything... right? The Case is Red and Black with all the colors you see right from the start...

When you buy NZXT cases, you have the choice between black, red and white... (for your main color)...

And all those cases have blue LEDs for the Fan controls (on top of the case) and the Power Button LED happens to be blue also...

So correct me if I'm wrong, but with this said... Blue fans seems the perfect choice don't you think. Obviously, you've never seen the NZXT website:

Take a good look at those cases, and then tell me that you think they need to be modded to look good ... :OP
