Well one of the things about this that people are forgetting is that in many 3rd world countries they dont have books and such for school. It would actually be cheaper for them to get these laptops and just have the students look at online textbooks than to buy all the text books for the students. As for a modern market such as for the US or something, this laptop is a lot more durable than something like a PSP plus has a slightly larger screen and can be powered by crank. Its just a very good cheap laptop solution for a child regardless of country.

I wonder if you can set it to boot from a usb drive. It'd be a great internet/office machine then.
