Corsair, a worldwide designer and supplier of high-performance components to the PC gaming hardware market, today announced worldwide retail availability of the Hydro Series H80 and H100 liquid CPU coolers.

The Hydro Series H80 and H100 feature the latest cooling performance technology, simple installation, and maintenance-free operation. Both include a low-profile, light-weight cooling unit with a micro-channel copper cold plate and a split-flow manifold for superior cooling. They also include digital fan control, allowing the user to select between quit, balanced, and performance cooling profiles. The H80 includes a double-thick 120mm radiator for compatibility with virtually all standard ATX PC cases. The top-of-the-line H100 uses a dual 120mm radiator for even better performance, and is compatible with PC cases that provide mounting capability for a standard 240mm radiator.

The Hydro Series H80 is available for a US suggested retail price of $109 USD, and the Hydro Series H100 is available for a US suggested retail price of $119 USD. For more information on the complete line of Hydro Series liquid CPU coolers, please visit the Corsair website.

Both the H80 and H100 include a Corsair Link digital connector, allowing them to take full advantage of the new Corsair Link system for monitoring and control.

I really like the fan headers on this thing. A very elegant solution.

It won't kill the RASA240, though. I doubt it can match its performance, and the RASA is more intended for those who want to dive into watercooling while not having to mix and match parts (yet retain the option to upgrade parts of the loop later on as they get more experience). The H100 is a quick out-of-the-box solution which cannot be upgraded.

I do think I'll pick one of these up at Microcenter when I am in the states in late August. I want one of these for my i7 975 and a dual rad fits perfectly on the bottom of the Xaser VI.

Hmm maybe its time to go from A70 yo H100 :)

I miss my water but hated to keeping up with a loop all the time. This closed loop system with 240 rad will be interesting to see performance tests

I wonder how the H80 performs compared to my Antec 'Kuhler' 920. the H80 is probably the same as the 920 IMO. they both can be plugged into the mobo to monitor temps and control fan RPM. and they are both made by Asetek.

Meh. they are probably the same product anyway only difference is the Corsair has a square pump

Take a look around the case gallery, after seeing some of the watercooling loops there, I doubt you'll still think that air cooler look better :D

I have a Antec 920 that keeps my oc'd & overvolted 2500k about 35'c idle with fan RPM fairly low (around 700-800RPM = virtually silent) :toast:

Doesnt go over 45'c when gaming.

Only time it did that was when it was hot and ambient temps was at 27-30'c in my room normally my room is between 20-23'c.

I tend to keep fan rpm hovering just over 1000RPM for airflow purposes otherwise the 200mm fan on the top of my case still pulls its weight.

It would seem silly not to pony up the extra $10 for a dual rad.

true. but then it boils down to if you have somewhere in side your case to mount it. how many average joe's do you know own a pair of tin snips in the workshed let alone have the guts and know how to get a little creative with their pc case?

Honestly dual 120 seems like a mistake. Most cases with dual top fans are either 140s (like mine) or 200s. Of course this wouldn't be an issue if case manufactures had the sense to make the wc tubing holes open towards the rear 120 fan hole. That way you could mount a closed system like this outside and just have it stick up a bit past the top of the case.

You know what, you're right, most cases have dual 140mm mount points spaced correctly (can take dual 140mm rads) and then they have dual 120mm mount points inside those 140mm spaces, with mounting holes spaced incorrectly for radiator mounts.

There are a few cases that have the correct spacing, but only the very new ones, so why didn't they came up with dual 140mm rads? Those can also the thinner and use lower RPM 140mm fans that would be quieter.

Wonder if the dual rad would fit the roof of a Fractal Design R3.

I'm in the exact same boat. I don't think it will, the rad is 27mm thick, the fans are 25mm and the screw heads will add let's say ~3mm depending on which side you mount the fans. So you need at least 55mm of space between the top of the case and the motherboard (the mosfet radiators and/or RAM).

That and having a look at the pictures shows it will not fit in an Fractal Design R3.

Perhaps they'll come out with a 120 that does. Edit : Model number would be better as 140 to avoid confusion!
