Most reviews agree that it's an decent performer, if not quite able to shake the NH-D14. I think one review said it was pretty quiet too. Price is around 45€, listed in a couple of German retailers, which isn't bad at all.

I suppose some folk want a PWM fan, other just a 3-pin as with the Hyper 612S shown last week. Couldn’t you just cut/switch the 4th “feed back” control wire on this and it’s now like a three pin or is over simplified? My thinking one model in the market, but provides both options.

I believe the S model, or Silent model comes with a less powerful fan attached...

From your link: The bundled 120 mm fan has a top speed of 1300 RPM ±10% pushing 52.6 CFM of air, and uses a 3-pin fan connector.

From Cooler Master on the PWM:Wide range PWM fan (600 – 2000 R.P.M.) provides versatile performance for full loading efficiency and for quiet idling. (also 82+ CFM)

It is the exact same cooler body, but the PWM is for efficiency, and the S is for silence

sneekypeet - Thanks on that I see it now, the S is a 1300 rpm, and probably differ most in there static pressure values. Though have'n two SKU's seem a lot of nothing... Who wants a Silent Monster?
Just offer the beast and if need be curtail it in the Bios fan profile if you want to tame it.

That is the Scythe Mugen 2 with some plastic on the top. Way to go I guess.
