EVGA Intros GeForce GTX 570 HD Graphics Card

EVGA rolled out a new custom-design GeForce GTX 570 graphics card that makes use of a shorter PCB and a cooler design inspired from that of the GeForce GTX 560 Ti, which offers better high-definition display connectivity compared to the standard model. Called the EVGA GeForce GTX 570 HD (model: 012-P3-1571-AR), the card makes use of a shorter GTX 570 PCB the company earlier displayed at CES with a yet unreleased dual-fan GTX 570. Display connectivity on this card includes two DVI, a full-sized (standard) HDMI 1.4, and a full-sized DisplayPort.

The cooler design is largely borrowed from NVIDIA's reference GeForce GTX 560 Ti, consisting of a circular heatsink with spirally-projecting aluminum fins, spreading heat to additional aluminum fin blocks on its either sides. It is ventilated by a large centrally-located fan. The card sticks to NVIDIA reference clock speeds of 732 MHz core, 1464 MHz CUDA cores, and 950 MHz (3800 GDDR5 effective) memory. Based on the 40 nm GF110 core, the GPU packs 480 CUDA cores, and connects to 1280 MB of memory over a 320-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface. EVGA's GeForce GTX 570 HD is priced at $349.99, on par with the reference base model.

If you watch it closer you will see some improvements compared to the 560 Ti reference design

like the vrm's heat spreader, more strong for these warms things. And the 4 phases of 560ti are stronger than 570 original reference design (look at the number of crushed cards)

sorry for the thread undeading but if though that's better for people who lookin at the main article to direct their choice.

Reference card didn't really exist anymore, most of them are:

1. already selled
2. rare or wrongly showed in web merchants (in france at minus)

so it's better to found something good before buying and there's nothing good related in every discution about what seem's to be the new reference design of GTX 570

Your all wrong about the GTX570HD/SE/V2 being no good its better than the old gtx570

The new nvidia GTX570HD /SE/ V2 card has not got a GTX560 or 560TI pcb as some seem to think, if you look inside the cooler you will see this with your own eyes. Its a new dedicated GTX 570 version 2 updated design from nvidia not EVGA they just use it to, and the cooler is not from a GTX560 just looks like it to some but it proforms a bit better than the GTX580`s nvidia refrence cooler so cant be that bad. The evga GTX570HD is nvidia new updated GTX570 refrence or version2 design not EVGA`S. It runs cooler than the old chopped down570 580 cards. Also its got stronger updated voltage regulation that makes it run less power/watts and just as fast/fps as the standard/old 570 V1 if not faster as it can stand higher overclocking due to its updated and dedicated pcb/design. So before you all slate the new nvidia/evga GTX 570HD refrence Design you shud find out what your talking about. Water blocks for the 570HD / se / V2 design are out hears 2 versions for anybody looking at blocks for this card. Hope that helps clear things up for anybody looking at getting 1 or 2 of these new shorter 570`s. Ther better than the old ones and will last longer with no proformance loss vs the old 570`s.
