According to a countdown timer on Man-Made-Hell.com, a site that links back to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl website, we're just 66 days away from the release of the so long delayed shooter.

Well the date has been set for a while now. The big stores have even received advertising materials (posters, radioactive stickers). The posters all mention March 2007. I know - I work at the place

this games was delayed for soo long and it was meant to have really great graphics they better of touched up the textures etc to make it a contender again

right,i have uploaded it to mega(took a cuppla hours too).

unzip to a drive were you like,open the folder and run the .exe 3danalyze,open the folder as in the pic and open the .bat files as in the pic.there is three files,the first one is just to look at really,the other two you will find some guys to shoot at.

if you cant work it out post and i will help.

btw,the file is 295mb(sorry if it is a big dl)

If that was for real, I hope they did some MAJOR development from those test levels. Because that was pretty pitiful, all of the guns sounds are from Counterstrike and the graphics are awful. From the looks of the recent screenshots though, it appears they have.

What tigger did not mention is:
1. The alpha is not to be distributed. It was a demo used at E3
2. It is at least 2 years old

So it is safe to say that a lot has changed since then.
