AOC unveiled two new monitors for small businesses, the 22-inch e2219Ph, and 24-inch e2436Pa. The two feature WLED-backlit LCD panels, with 20,000,000:1 DCR, 1000:1 static contrast ratio, 5 ms response time, and power consumption of around 30W. While the e2219Ph features 1680x1050 pixel resolution, the e2436Pa ups it to 1920x1080. Both take inputs from DVI and D-Sub, the e2436Pa includes HDMI as well. Slated for mid-November, the e2219Ph and e2436Pa are priced at €169 and €189, respectively.

What does it mean "...for Small Business"? In what way is this product, service or warranty different from consumer, "big business", corporate, enterprise, or government?

Does "Small Business" mean low budget? Or low expectations? Or low quality? Or since 1 in 3 small businesses have folded within 3 years, then perhaps short warranty?

AOC marketing needs to work on their PR and marketing strategy. I'll give them a call ;)

1680x1050? Then why is their 24" not 1920x1200? and Why is a 1680x1050 22" so close in price to the 1080p 24"?

just make them both 1080p, or at least both 16:9 or 16:10. Also, price the 22" accordingl if you still an inferior resolution like that

I'm glad AOC is getting more exposure, I've been using their 21.5" 1920x1080 monitor for about 6 months and it's great! Relatively cheap too, now I just need two more.

Glad to hear it because I bought one a few days ago and it seems pretty good. I looked at a Samsung in the same size and price and res and it looked terrible. Not sure if they just had poorly optimized the display over at Best Buy, but of all the monitors in the $150 price range the AOC looked the best. My only complaint (so far) is no DVI cable in the box and a damn flimsy stand. I mean that stand is so thin and whippy that I am afraid it will snap right off the back of the monitor. Apparently the only place it attaches is to the thin plastic shell of the casing.

Not too much edge bleed, decent "true" color, Movies look pretty good on it. Not sure what else I could want out of a $150 monitor.

I'm also using a AOC monitor, a 24" one. Its a very good display, has this weird touch control system, almost capacitive like controls.
