It's a vapor chamber similar to the ones on the 69xx cards but apparently improved.

I just hope this fan won't be as rubbish quality as it was on HD5000 series which died nearly instantly. Exhaust coolers are great but the fan quality was just pathetic.

I am just not happy were they put the screw holes around the VRM's as i am sure this is going to encourage more lame VRM cooling solutions like Arctic Cooling do.

Well it is all about what the market will bear that permits the retail/E-tailers to gouge; it's a free market after all. It's folks that say crap like "take my money", "I'm in for two"... blablabla that cause those who receive initial stock to listen to such chatter and have no qualms choking the goose!

With that said, (and as I’ve said) AMD needs to stick to the program when setting the MSRP, if as good as being projected, and the capacity is there, (hope) they should choose taking ground/sales and less about profits per unit. You attract more bees’ using honey, and those may be new sales out of the competitor. Take the fight to Nvidia and their GK104 now!

As for the cooling option I'll probably go with Twin Frozr this time
