Transcend Releases the JetFlash 780 USB 3.0 Flash Drive

Expanding its portable storage offer, Transcend has now introduced (in Europe for starters) a new JetFlash Series flash drive, USB 3.0-enabled JetFlash 780. This drive measures 70 x 21 x 8.1 mm, it weights just 7 grams, has a checkerboard design, and comes in 8 GB and 16 GB capacities.

The 8 GB JetFlash 780 delivers read/write speeds of up to 20/100 MB/s and costs 14.99 Euro, while the 16 GB model tops 40/140 MB/s and goes for 24.99 Euro.

I already have like 5 pending returns to Amazon - got pretty unlucky with online purchases lately:( And I didn't want to misuse their customers service.

But this new model probably won't be available right away anyway.
