To view this case mod, go here.
Specs:
Core i7 2700k @4.6Ghz
Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB DDR3 RAM
Asus P8Z68-V PRO GEN3 Intel Z68 Motherboard
Aerocool Predator Green Case
2 X HIS Radeon 6970 (Crossfire)
OCZ Vertex 3 SSD (120GB)
Thermaltake Toughpower 750W PSU
Green Lights and the odd coloured cabling.
Mods:
Just added lights, and cable managed.
My Most recent build, mainly built for solid gaming performance but I tried hard to make it look as nice as possible too ^^
I usually get asked two questions about this case:
Q - Dual GPU and overclocked 2700k, and you use AIRCOOLING??
A - Yep! the cpu is actually a very nice chip, stays very low temps at high clocks, lower than its lesser versions. The Gpu's are HIS which are also very quality coolers, they exhaust out the rear and barely scrape 60*C at Max load. At a push, I may buy a sealed loop CPU cooler, but right now, its 45 full load.
Q - is the 750W PSU really enough to handle the OC and 2 X 6970's?
A - Yes it is, but that's not because 750W is guaranteed to be enough, because it might not for other brands. The thermaltake toughpower is a quality PSU. Make sure you buy quality and do research first to check your PSU can handle it.
Thanks for reading and looking. Vote honestly, I'm new and need pointers =)
