Yet another Cedar Trail-powered Eee PC is ready to reach stores and it comes in a multitude of colors including black, white, grey, brown, pink, red, blue and purple. Dubbed Eee PC R052CE, ASUS' new netbook measures 262 x 178 x 20.7 ~ 34.4 mm, it weights 1.25 kg, and features a 10.1-inch display, a 1.86 GHz Atom N2800 processor, 1 GB of RAM, a 320 GB HDD, a 0.3-megapixel webcam, an SD card reader, an HDMI output, and a 6-cell (5,200 mAh) battery providing up to 12 hours of operation).

The Eee PC R052CE runs Windows 7 Starter (it also comes with the Express Gate instant-on OS) and is available for pre-order at 329 Euro or 339 Euro (depending on the color choice).

Nope. Still the ridiculous 1024x600, even though they seemed to have learned their lesson with the retarded glossy/glare LCDs. All sub-models (more like color variations) have a matte screen.

Edit: the R052C-GRY001S (gray) and the R052CE-WHI002S (white) seem to be in stock on cyberport.de (in the link above, the top and bottom-most entries), whereas the amazon.de links all say "Ready to ship in 1-2 months" lol

I can't believe Intel is still restricting the netbook platform to 1GB of RAM and 1024*600 screens. Screw that, get an AMD Brazos netbook and call it a day.
