Day one of BF3 experience with Origin: origin was unable to download the game.
Day two with Origin: the licensing mechanism was still down, unable to start playing BF3.
Day three: Good luck playing BF3 on any server even though it's registered: plug in problems, battlelog problems, punkbuster gone nuts.
Day four: EA sticking an anal probe up my butt while I'm all confused as to what's happening.
Day ~150 (yesterday): Origin had major problems, unable to launch the game, massive servers down, battlelog went nuts, everyone getting kicked because of punkbuster.

Between day 4 and today, there have been at least a hundred times where either battlelog, origin or punkbuster gave problems, or their own updates(mainly server side updates) as well.

EA service: "Oh here are 15 step instructions (with an invalid link to download) on how to fix your problem."

FUUUU, they just can't do ANYTHING right. It's all EA, DICE works for them, Battlelog is theirs, Origin too.

Origin features: overlay with a browser. Can't even see the freaking time or do anything I can with Steam.

Good one EA. You trolled us big time.

Well and how much ALL those are user error to begin with ?bad installs ???I have had Origin and Never had a problem...go figure.Only thing that effect it are bad drivers ,no updates to Punk Buster ect ect...But what does EA have to do with the company that made the game...IE Dice or EA fault?

What i am saying here and in the other post (please see the pic of Counter Strike Source)EA =Electronic Arts the DISTRIBUTION COMPANY not EA studios that make and break certain games. You guys see EA logo and not think they are 3 or 4 separate companies that make one.DICE made BF3,They need to get it too store...oh wait EA will distribute them....Its all EA they suck ...Funny if Valve does it and you see EA logo in plain site it`s ok ????

Well I am not an american to say which is worst in America, also I don't think that EA is the worst, but in the gaming industry I would say yes, and yes globally worst of them. How many good titles they ruined... Not to start with the other shit they produce. Capitalism, the worshiping of the money is in the heart of this corporate menace out there. His majesty the profit.

Same here... In the gaming industry EA and Ubisoft are definetely the worst. Yes there are other companies that are somewhat more full of crap but the thing that imho most people consider is the level of disapointment towards a company:

Phillip Morris: hey you don't want lung cancer? Don't smoke, easy as that
British Petroleum: well what did u expect? A green oil company?
Haliburon: same above
AIG: this one is a bit more tricky, since (last I checked) there are no alternatives to AIG (it's basically a monoploly right)

But EA is a basically a technology company...it's prime goal should be entartain while innovating...profit is just a consequence of that behavior. But in the last years it clearly shows that EA's prime goal was PROFIT from pretending to innovate and entertain. That's a big disappointment in the eyes of the sober IT consumer (imho).

EA is the publisher. When I go for game support, I go through Origin, or EA's service. From there, being the publisher and financier of the entire project, they delegate work, problems to fix, etc to the appropriate parties.

So yes, EA is on the top level, and in charge of everything. They set the budgets, they set the release date, they are in total control of every little detail if they want to. It is their fault. Not some developer up in Sweden who hasn't gotten a sprint item on the backlog to fix bug X because there was no budget for it.

Get your facts straight.

That depends on who was allowed to vote, like were people who DO NOT live in America allowed to vote ?.

Another thing that comes to mind is how the fuck can you have a ass hole company award for 2012 when were only 4 months into it LMAO.

No, it wasn't the end of the world having to use Origin. But you miss the point. It wasn't just about BF3 and others. It was about EA's treatment of it all. Do they have a right to force everyone onto their own platform? Yes. Do gamers have a right to be pissed when they remove titles from Steam for no reason and generally treat Valve like shit? Of course!

EA deserved the hate which led to this award. The mess with Steam was only a part of it all. Origin being the mess it is, still in beta. Then naming it after a beloved classic company which EA bought and killed. Mix in all the messes with all the big hit titles this last year or two. Then countless anger over their business practices a decade before...

This has been a long time coming. Sadly it is hard to fondly remember the classic EA which was so fantastic. From the days of Desert Strike/etc. Then, bigger and bigger they got. Dreamcast comes, EA starts flexing their muscles. EA kills it by refusing to dev on it. Companies start bending knee to EA more and more.

The response is truthful. They aren't the worst. But it is also shows their arrogance. It is a slap back at the consumer. "Hey, we aren't the ones ruining the planet. Our games are award winning, therefore, you're wrong!"

There is no concept to EA of why consumers voted them. Think what would be wonderful is if their stock took a dive from this. But I doubt that would happen.

I think we can agree that British Petroleum, AIG, Philip Morris, and Halliburton are in their own God Tier and were not included for that very reason.

Also EA, who do you think voted for you there? The very people you are trying to sell your produce to. Others likely don't even know who you are. Still, you made it to the top. That should tell you something.
