I like the idea however I wish it came in white as well. I think the red or blue background would mess up my image on my display.

Kinda old news......this was unboxed by Linus on his YT channel LinusTechTips back in May.

Im guessing they were on sale at some point here in the UK as the only retailer i can find with it is sold out.

They do make white.

I have them. They're decent enough, I suppose. Not going to change your world, but can be a nice touch if you're keen on details.

I doubt the adhesive is permanent.

Do what i do.....

head to ebay, find some cheap 'sticky back' velcro strips - they dont have to be very long. Make sure you get the hooks & the loops.

When they arrive all you need to do is cut them to size and away you go.


I use a similar method to attach mosquito netting to my windows.

As gumpty said, they've made a similar product called the Antec Halo 6 LED Bias Lighting Kit for well over a year.

I ran mine under the leading edge of my monitor stand and plugged it into the USB port on the back of my monitor.

It shines down onto the top of my Corsair Vengeance K60 keyboard and the surrounding area so that at night with all the lights off I can still see to type or game. Keeps down the eyestrain if I game for long hours, yet has no glare onto my screen.

If it goes bad you can just get another - they're only between $8 and $13 dollars depending on where you find them. I forced my first one to make too tight of a curve and one bulb went out, so I redid it.

These new ones should be great for those that want colors and an on/off switch - that seems to be the only difference.

Oh - and they do peel off pretty easy when you want them to, but stick quite well when you don't!
