Committed to changing the world one listener at a time, SOL REPUBLIC is proud to announce the release of its SOL REPUBLIC Tracks Ultra headphones. Tracks Ultra come with new V12 Sound Engine on-ear speakers that offer deeper bass, higher vocal clarity and deliver the best sound available in an on-ear headphone. At an MSRP of $179.99, Tracks Ultra offers music lovers a superior headphone at an obtainable price.

Kevin Lee, SOL REPUBLIC CEO, said: "The pursuit of high end sound has always been a real passion. I'm proud of what we achieved in our first Tracks headphone, and equally excited about the new level of clarity, transparency, and even tighter, punchier bass of Tracks Ultra. As an audiophile, it's a headphone I can truly appreciate, especially at a non-audiophile price".

Tracks Ultra: The evolution of on-ear headphones

Along with the V12 Sound Engine on-ear speakers, SOL REPUBLIC Tracks Ultra headphones also feature the interchangeable and nearly unbreakable FlexTech Sound Track headband featured on all SOL REPUBLIC Tracks models. The V12 Sound Engine on-ear speakers are available in an exclusive 'spun' finish and come with new SonicSoft Speaker Pads that are incredibly comfortable.

The Sound Track cable features a 90-degree angle plug for durability and an omni-directional microphone that is compatible with all smartphones. The Sound Track headbands are interchangeable with all SOL REPUBLIC Tracks system products. Together with the recently launched Tracks Remix system, which allows music fans to easily customize their Tracks Ultra headphones, headbands and cables are sold separately in a variety of colors to create entirely new looks.

SOL REPUBLIC Tracks Ultra On-Ear Headphones are available now at the Apple Store and Future Shop, other major retailers and online at SOLREPUBLIC.com for an MSRP of $179.99.

$180 non audiophile? :wtf:

I wonder how it matches up to Sennheiser HD 25 II, the one which pops up immediately in my head at this price point.

i'm pretty sure that price reflects the design of the headphones and not the audio quality. fail.

idiot

You do realize that all of the tracks headphones feature the same design right? So the difference in price must be do to sound quality and not the design:respect:

bad logic is bad. all the tracks headphones are overpriced because the price is based on the design and not the audio quality.
