EK-Supremacy is a successor of the legendary EK-Supreme HF water block launched in 2010. It's main improvements are:

• Better hydraulic performance: due to improved design up to 20% higher flow compared to EK-Supreme HF
• Better cooling performance: up to 2°C lower CPU temperatures compared to EK-Supreme HF

The EK-Supremacy cooling engine uses similar, yet refined as per needs of modern microprocessors, fin design as its ancestor. The cooling liquid accelerates through jet plate's nozzle and turbulently continues its path through numerous very thin channels which provide extreme cooling surface area. Specifically designed and carefully machined copper base (sometimes referred to as 'cold plate') is made from purest copper available on the market and is further polished to absolute mirror finish. This alone greatly improves the cooling performance of EK-Supremacy.

EK-Supremacy is also the first CPU water block on the market which has been optimized for every modern CPU platform independently with the use of different type of jet plates to ensure the best contact with the CPU integrated heat spreader (IHS). Not really I wouldn't think. There's about a 2-3°C (and that's being generous) variance between the top CPU blocks (Koolance CPU-370, RayStorm, Apogee HD, DD-M6 etc.). Bigger consideration would be flow restriction -matching the block with the loop ,heat dissipation qualities of the rad(s), and block mounting (ease of fitting and conflicts with some boards' capacitor height/placement).

+1, those circles are present on every EK waterblock released in recent years. they do look good on blocks with acrylic tops.

I'm using a black top EK Supremacy. Block works good, comes with very good mounting hardware and it works great. Looks aren't its strong point I guess.. I don't really care about looks. Maybe I can glue some glitter or rhinestones on it.

I needs me a new block..got rands, pump, but no block for current sockets. The only thing I do nto like about htis block is that indigo extreme being sized for each socket, but I'm pretty sure the block is universal?

Funny, when they released the "Best" thing on the market it can be improved upon later. Shouldn't the best reign true without revisions?

The EK I have is universal aside from mounting hardware and the plates inside the block. Mine came with a full universal hardware kit and all three plates for inside of it.

Good point. As a machinist I KNOW that takes an extra process, tool, and programming for a purely aesthetics thing with no function and that frankly the majority of people don't even like.
