Super Flower unveiled its first 80 Plus Platinum-compliant fanless (silent) PSU. The SF-500P14FG 500W PSU features modular cabling, with enough connectors for a dual-GPU gaming PC. The SF-500P14FG features active PFC, LLC half-bridge resonant circuitry, synchronous rectifiers, DC-to-DC switching, and a single +12V rail design. The fan makes way for a chunky metal heatsink with vents. The heatsink directly draws heat from hot components such as FETs and rectifying bridge. Available with 5-year or lifetime warranty options, the SF-500P14FG will be introduced in the Chinese market, starting at 799 RMB (US $127).

I have a question, if I'm gonna get a computer with a fanless 500W power supply, do they make a fanless 660 (ti or non) and a heaksink big enough for to deal with the heat from a LGA 2011 CPU? Cause a power supply is already quiet if it's gonna be fanless it's gonna be a system with no fans except 1 200mm (or greater) and that's it. 500W of heat is alot to deal with so 1 fan is kinda needed (in my opinion).

I don't think this is the thread to be asking that. Go make another for that specific question. TPU users will answer accordingly

Just curious cause the relevance of this PSU seems very small to me.

I dunno, I think it would be good in a HTPC or perhaps a home server. The SLI certification is a bit out of place though.

Someone who is watercooling their rig with some noctua fans on the rad could make their system almost silent.
