Antec Releases Three Additions to the Performance One Series

Riding the market's newfound love for white cases, Antec released three additions to its Performance One P280 series. The three include a completely whitewashed variant of the P280, the P280-MW; a white version of P280 with an acrylic window on its side-panel, the P280-MW Window; and a black/graphite version of the P280 with windowed side-panel, the P280 Window. The P280-MW and P280-MW Window feature all-white exteriors with mostly-white interiors with a dash of black for the cable inlets and drive trays, which lend it an aesthetic contrast. The three retain the USP of the original P280 - silence, and feature noise-absorption material lining its panels.

The three are otherwise identical in specifications to the original P280. Made of SECC steel and ABS plastic, the P280 is an XL-ATX full-tower case with as many as 9 expansion slot spaces. It features three 5.25-inch and six 3.5-inch/2.5-inch drive trays. Ventilation includes two 120 mm front-intake fans (not included), two top 120 mm exhaust fans (2x TwoCool fans included), one 120 mm rear exhaust (included), and two 120 mm drive cage conveyers (not included). Measuring 570 x 225 x 520 mm, the P280 weighs roughly 9.8 kg. The three will reach stores on October 13.

At least Antec knows how to do a window, nice n clean & flush. No stupid vents or fan grills...

Dual GPUs with no fan mounted on the side panel can often be a bad idea. I can only hope that a case like this has enough space to install a 240mm rad.

You can add a 240mm rad, but will be very tight on top. There is a 2 spots for fan mounts on the inside HDD rack.
No difference from the P280, just different color and side window.

The side window should be one piece the size of the side panel.

Earlier this year, I remember seeing a version of the P280 that had more room at the top- I assume it was for putting a radiator in. I don't know if it was just a prototype or not.

I wonder if Antec will offer just the side panel with window for sale.

but Id say its a coin toss between a Corsair 650D/600T or this Antec. Most would choose one of the Corsair's I imagine

Im not too sure if you can fit a 240mm rad into a 600T though - Ive heard that the rad either has to be very thin or you need to mod the case or play with other smaller/different shaped rads to get a watercooling loop going

Guess you missed the description/pics? Plenty of cooling capabilities from my perspective, multi GPUs and all

At least from a personal aesthetic perspective, it's radiating a level of sophistication that is lacking a bit in much of what i see on the market, doesnt blow me away though.
