Perfect World Co., Ltd.("Perfect World"), a leading online game developer and operator based in China, and Valve, a leading entertainment software and technology company based in the United States, today announced an agreement granting Perfect World exclusive rights to operate Dota 2 in mainland China. In development at Valve, with design lead "IceFrog," Dota 2 promises to expand on the unique mix of action, RTS, and RPG gameplay that has made Dota one of the most popular online games in the world and a leading title at professional e-sport competitions.

"Valve is one of the best developers of online games in the world. Valve gave very careful consideration to which potential partner, among multiple candidates, would best serve the Chinese Dota community," said Gabe Newell, President and co-founder of Valve. "In the end, Perfect World was the clear choice to best bring the full Dota 2 experience to customers in China. IceFrog, and the entire team at Valve, are looking forward to moving Dota 2 forward in China with the rest of the world."

Simply the best ;) If you combine Counter Strike's teamwork and skills with Warcraft's strategy then you have DotA
I'd say this thing will beat Counter Strike franchise soon as far as mods go, man

What's your "go crazy" game then? Call of Duty perhaps?

Nope, I am beyond over that game as it hasn't changed at all since COD 4, it's the same game every year with little to no changes in mechanics, and a couple of new maps with the others recycled from previous games, and a couple of new guns with the others recycled from the previous games. :nutkick::shadedshu

Recently I have been playing the hell out of dishonored, and borderlands 2, but I don't really have a game that I play for hours on end and play at the occlusion of other games. I mean I play World of Tanks everyday but that's mainly due to clan wars. To me DOTA is boring, farm creeps to level, then spam ability's to kill others, rinse and repeat.

Simply the best ;) If you combine Counter Strike's teamwork and skills with Warcraft's strategy then you have DotA

That's cool and all I love to see community created content make it big, but to me it's just meh, and so is CS.
