Club 3D unveils today its brand new Radeon HD 7990 Dual GPU graphic card, the latest and fastest addition to its highly praised Radeon HD 7000 series. The Radeon HD 7990 Dual GPU graphic card is a real performance beast and features the power of two Radeon HD 7970 series processors on a single card. Prepare to be blown away by the incredible speed of the Radeon HD 7990 Dual GPU in the hottest DirectX 11 games with its processing power of 2x2048 Stream Processors and 6144MB memory. Experience amazing graphics with Morphological Anti-Aliasing (MLAA 2.0) and Adaptive Anti-Aliasing technologies that help smooth out jagged edges without compromising performance.

The Club 3D Radeon HD 7990 Dual GPU delivers exceptional performance at 40% faster than the Radeon HD 7970 GHz board and 45% faster than the standard Radeon HD 7970 and delivers incredible performance at great value. Combine two Club 3D Radeon HD 7990 Dual GPU graphic cards to create a Quad CrossFire configuration and take your gaming performance to extreme levels.

Featuring a non-reference design, the 10 high performance heatpipes keep the GPU temperatures at a stable 45 degrees when running in idle and 65 degrees under load (3DMark 11 on Extreme preset settings) and the three fans (2x 92mm and 1x 80mm) are designed to operate under extreme load conditions and provide a reasonable 31.5dBA in idle and 33.9dBA under load.

ZeroCore Power
Using ZeroCore Power technology the graphic card can turn off most of its functional units of the GPUs, when they are unused, leaving only the PCI Express bus and other components active. This as a result, reduces the power consumption from 30W at idle to under 3W in long idle, a power level low enough that ZeroCore Power shuts off the fan as there is no heat generated further saving energy.

ZeroCore Power will put CrossFire graphic cards in ZCP mode when not in use.

Incredible Performance

Features
If you expect above average performance of your Graphics card, Club 3D CoolStream High Performance Cooling Technology is just the kind of high performance that you have been looking for. Club 3D CoolStream features high performance heatpipes that keeps the components cool and outperforms standard cooling solutions. Paired with a unique fan blade design it increases airflow while reducing noise. The result is a dramatic increase of performance for your gaming and multimedia experience.

Extreme Gamers require extreme performance. The two Radeon HD 7970 GPU's on the Radeon HD 7990 Dual GPU have been cherry-picked for extreme performance and efficiency. Club 3D has developed a customized PCB to accommodate faster speeds and thermal dissipation.

The card features a Dual BIOS that caters to the extreme user and overclocking enthusiast. With the standard BIOS at 2x900 MHz reference GPU clock you will be running faster, efficient and more reliable out of the box. Unlock the GPU to 2x925 MHz clock speeds and beyond with a push of a button. You can be assured that the Radeon HD 7990 Dual GPU won't let you down.

Windows 8 and Radeon
The Club 3D Radeon HD 7990 Dual GPU takes full advantage of the features that Windows 8 has to offer with the Radeon HD 7000 series GCN architecture. Video and picture editing software and games are already reaping the benefits of Windows 8 and GCN architecture family of graphic cards. Game and application developers are already including GCN optimizations in their software, take Adobe Photoshop and Corel WinZip for example, these applications receive a performance increase of by up to 25% on the Windows 8 operating system using GCN optimization.

Windows 8 is also great for multi-monitor solutions with its new easy to use taskbar. A new feature of Windows 8 is that the taskbar is now available on each screen, which can boost productivity by up to 35%.

Cheaper than the 690, with more memory, but really too late to market to be relevant, especially with the 8xxx series around the corner.

That's pretty close, and with the fact for the price of this card you can have 2 7970's and achieve better results makes this card sorta pointless IMO, or at the very least too late to market to be received well.:ohwell:

Well, it's nice they're being honest about the price performance hit.

Effectively twice the price but only 45% better than a 7970. I'd rather have two 7970's (and I do). Even more, I wouldn't touch this with a barge pole - the GTX690 is such a better proposition (but again, I'd still rather have two 7970's).

Yeah I guess, but it really should have been on the market 4 + months ago.

because they arent fighting over the bandwidth of the Bridge on the card and then the bus on the motherboard for that single lane

either which way this is just the Devil 13, everyone else decided to take upon Powercolors Design for the 7990.
