ASUS Q3 2012 Profits Soar by 43 Percent

Thanks to successful product lines, ASUS posts record Q3 2012 profits of $230 million, a 43 percent jump from last year's $160 million. The Q3 results posted by the company are its best in the last four years. The company owes its quarterly success to association with Google in making the Nexus 7 tablet, its own Transformer Prime TF01 convertible tablet-netbook, and a vast portfolio of notebooks covering all market segments, including Ultrabook. The company looks forward to and equally good Q4.

That's awesome. The transformer tablets are quite nice, though it felt like I was working with an oversized phone. Google's fault.

Now lets hope they keep some focus on making great motherboards, especially the ROG series.

I always enjoyed Asus products as well, that is untill they fucked me and countless others over with their HDMI sound cards. Nevermind their "Customer Service/Support", to me and many others it is NON EXISTANT. Looking around the web lately looks like they have decided to start fucking over their MoBo/GFX customers as well

I will never purchase/reccomend another Asus product again. Ever.

Last big purchases, 2 motherboards, 3 monitors, router, last 3 video cards all asus products. Wonder if they're getting too big for their britches though, had some issues with rma and some general displeasure about their nonchalant response to known issues on the 7950 direct cu II issues.

It's Transformer prime TF-201 btw.

and their good results are largely attributed due to them being first out with a tegra3 10", then the success of a Google designed tab (nexus) and their unrelenting support cost cutting. (CID stamp trigger happy bastards)
