Cooler Master launched the Centurion 6 ATX mid-tower case. Available in all-black "Midnight Black" (RC-610-KKN1) and with a dash of silver (RC-610-SKN1), the Centurion 6 is slightly narrower, yet taller and longer than its predecessor, the Centurion 5, measuring 200 x 464.5 x 481 mm (WxHxD). Made mostly of SECC steel, ABS plastic, with a dash of aluminum (its front-panel mesh), it weighs about 5.9 kg.

The storage area of the Centurion 6 includes three 5.25" bays, and seven 3.5" bays, from which two can be converted into 2.5" ones. The seven 3.5" bays are split into two cages, with four and three bays. The smaller, upper 3-bay cage is detachable, making room for graphics cards as long as 405 mm. Its front panel includes two USB 3.0 ports (standard header), in addition to two USB 2.0/1.1 ports and HD audio jacks.

Ventilation in the Centurion 6 includes a 140 mm front intake fan that lights up to blue; provision for two 140 mm fans on top, a 120 mm rear exhaust fan, provision for a 120 mm bottom intake, provision for a 120 mm HDD cage conveyer, and two 120 mm side-panel intakes. The Centurion 6 should reach stores by the end of this month, priced around $50 UPDATE: Cooler Master Informed us, that the chassis has an MSRP of 69 USD.

I have noticed most coolermaster cases come with blue :( I have the first edition centurion case beside me at work and it sucks in terms of quality. I have had multiple things break and bend just by normal handling.

Well but those are $50, what we should expect? A hand made Ferrari?

The only fun really are those out of place aesthetics, like blue led(well some nationalities like them tough), some plastic pimp my ride stuff (TT crap style), that breaks and cracks just by looking at it .

Yup, straight into what looks like a dust filter behind it :p

I have had better made cases for 50$ and most were made by NZXT (their newer styles). Hopefully this new design is more durable that the first version.

For only $50, the Centurion 6 would make a superb budget case. I would consider this over the CM HAF 912 and the Antec 300 Two. I'll be anxiously waiting for reviews.

They should stay away from the adding the two fan placements on the side panel
Infact all PC cases should.
It screams budget and with this particular front panel....why.

Can you pleas elaborate why adding side panel fans is considered cheap? is it because quality case makers like Lian-Li doesn't put them?

Ah I see you took a look at my system specs and may have a case with fan placements on the side panel yourself.

Majority of generic flimsy cases tend to have these side panels with the option of installing fans on it.

I personally do not think it's necessary, especially with the front design of this case and the majority of contemporary cases out there which have more than sufficient cooling on the front as well as the top.

BTW my Lian-Li does have a fan on the side panel, it is not screwed in to the side though.
It is linked to an adjustable runner which is connected to the rear of the case, so can be adjusted to the length of the video card and where the source of heat is.

I use a Centurion 5, which seems more durable. If you want a cheap case that does not look cheaply, get a Xigmatek Asgard (the first edition).
