Are we going to see any non-reference coolers come out or are we just going to see the reference design stay like the 690 has.

I wanna get myself two titans when they are said to come out here in australia next week. I have two 680's, but it isnt good enough, luckily i can sell my 680's to lower the price of the titans.

Those look nice but an extra 4month wait just for water cooling ? Thats a long wait for those that would want one of those.

that is just a rough guess, evga has to test safe ocs for 24/7 use before they can use them, and then also figure that oc'er will want to up it even more so they have to figure oc head room aswel.

I dont think nvidia is going to allow it - but then again - what´s the point releasing to AIB partners ???

Rly ? Maybe cause it's nvidia referent design:rolleyes:.
By the way card is brutal, but too expensive no matter what specs says.

You all must credit the Apple of graphics cards for allowing the AIBs the freedom of giving you useless shit with your must-use reference designed card.

I think Ryan Smith over at Anandtech nailed it

Anandtech said:
NVIDIA has long wanted to ape Intel’s ability to have an extreme/luxury product at the very top end of the consumer product stack, and with Titan they’re going ahead with that.

They couldn't have done this without having AMD/ATI performance high end matching their midrange chip aka GK104.

I think that Titan wouldn't have existed as we know it now (in consumer graphics landscape) if Tahiti would have been clocked more aggressively from the start cause Nvidia would never have launched a GTX 680 that performs less than AMD/ATI top dog.

edit: wait isn't a post missing?
