AMD planning a fab in New York State

Like the headline says, AMD is moving forward with plans to build a fab in New York State. This decision was not made due to quarterly earnings, but instead, the long-term plans of AMD. AMD is now in a 12-week review stage, during which smart people at AMD will be drawing blueprints for this new fab. right, Fabrication. Good. They need to build some more plants to keep up with Intel.
