Benchmark Scores There are no marks on my bench
as if upgrading your motherboard for every new generation wasnt good enough.. now they will make sure you have to upgrade your PSUs as well. intel is running a pretty goos scheme.

So yeh, I'm a fan of power saving,:cool: it adds up over the long term!!!

I'm a huge fan of low power too.

It's actually one of the reasons I couldn't justify an AMD FX purchase. Electricity here is about $0.24 per kWh, and I keep my PC on 24/7. For my usage model, power savings alone for just over one year will put an FX8350 at price parity with an i7-3770k, and if I keep the PC for 3 years (not too unusual, I would think) the i7 would actually cost less to own.
