This is one area where more, better products would be good as PCIe is far more capable than SATA anything. The current SSD makers tend to deliver 2.5" SATA solutions because that is the larger consumer market. Industry and especially video/graphic environments will jump on good PCIe SSD solutions as they provide far better performance than 2.5" SSDs.

Those drives already provide x4 better performance than standard sata drives, unfortunately the price will be x10 more expensive I bet...
