EK Water Blocks, Ljubljana based premium water cooling gear manucturer, is proud to introduce two new water cooling solutions for the latest generation GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-OC and GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-OC Force motherboards.

EK-FB KIT GA Z87X-OC water block kit is a complete liquid cooling solution for GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-OC motherboard. This water block kit directly cools Intel Z87 southbridge (PCH) and power regulation (VRM / MOSFETs) module. The two-piece set of water blocks features high flow design that can be easily used with systems using weaker water pumps.

EK-FB GA Z87X-OC Force water block is a complete liquid cooling solution for GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-OC Force motherboard. This product directly cools Intel Z87 southbridge (PCH), PLX PEX 8474 PCIe lane splitter as well as power regulation (VRM / MOSFETs) module. This single-piece all-in-one water cooling solution also sports a high flow design therefore the product can be easily used with systems using weaker water pumps.

Base of these water blocks are made of (nickel plated - depending on the model and variant) electrolytic copper while the top is made of quality POM Acetal material. The sealing is ensured by the use of quality rubber gaskets. The nickel plated brass screw-in standoffs are already pre-installed and allow for easy and trouble-free installation.

MSRP (incl. VAT)
  • EK-FB KIT GA Z87X-OC - Acetal 79,95?
  • EK-FB GA Z87X-OC Force - Acetal 122,95?
  • EK-FB GA Z87X-OC Force - Acetal+Nickel 127,95?

EK-FB KIT GA Z87X-OC is readily available for purchase through EK Webshop and Partner Reseller Network while the EK-FB GA Z87X-OC Force will be available for purchase on Monday , July 15th 2013.

What the hell were they thinking with the barb placement on the PCH? For the two-piece set I mean.

Where else should they have put it? Either way itll mess up multi GPU solutions, but you should really only use 2 cards on that board anyway, and in that case it would be fine.

Placement is as good as it can get. 2nd PCIe slot is x4 only, anyway, so most users will not be using it.

Board gives x8/x4/x4/x4 when second slot is used...

Is there really any point to watercooling a chipset or VRM anymore? The main voltage regulator and any circuitry that may affect an overclock is integrated in the processor now.
