It had potential until I read it had Intel/Nvidia. That's pretty laughable for a gaming laptop.

Don't bother asking. I notice many posts from this member like this. I've learned to ignore the ignorance.

I like this laptop a lot though starting at $1400 is a bit steep for a 13 incher.

It's way cheaper on XoticPC. I'm thinking of selling my macbook air for this.

And Razer has the nerve to sell the same specs with a Walmart-grade TN screen @ $1800.

I mean this is actually a good price for what it seems like you get - there are really not that many 13" gaming options out there, and the ones that are have even higher prices.

This thing has a higher quality screen than most of them too.

Id definitely be interested in something like this as i used to have an old 14.1" laptop that was quite capable of gaming, playing games like CoD:MW1 and oblivion was never an issue (Intel T2300@1.66Ghz, ATi X1600MR + 2GB DDR2-667) Unfortunately, Price with laptops this small is quite off putting.

Also, I find myself rarely even needing to touch my 11.6" HP DM1 now days, Most of the time it just sits there until I know im gonna be away from home for a long while then pick it up.

Yeah Cyberpowerpc carries a variant too:
http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/Xplorer_X3-9100_Gaming_Notebook/

When Diablo 3 came out a year ago I wanted the OriginPC EON11-S but I found the same thing at Xotic for much cheaper.
Then at the time I found it even cheaper at Cyberpowerpc with a free 120gb SSD upgrade and Diablo 3 promotion.

I couldn't justify an extra $300 for the custom red notebook cover of the Origin one even though it looked pretty cool for the same exact thing.

The only caveat I have is that when you custom configure a laptop is that it will take at least 2 weeks maybe even 3-4 to build and ship.

On a side note I'm mostly done with Diablo 3 (which I played mainly on my desktop anyways) and anyone interested in a mint 11.6" quad with HT Ivy 650m gpu laptop with upgraded 120gb ssd and 2 x 4gb ddr3 1600 gaming ram send me a p.m. - it's been sitting for months unused.

Nice specs for such a small form factor, and if you get the cyber power version it's an even better deal, the only issue I see is that the specs are very similar to the Razer Blade 14", and the GTX765M was found to be barely adequate to play at 900p, dunno if the same card will be enough to play current games on a 1080p panel...

At 13", I wouldn't mind if it was 1680x1050.. lesser stress for the gpu, and more framerates.

That's the beauty though - 1080p IPS for videos/movies/surfing and less demanding games.

You can always crank down 1 notch if necessary.

Gimme gimme. When my G53 gives up, this is definitely at the top of my wishlist. 1600X900 I think would be best @ 13" though for better fps. But still amazing anyhow :)
