After topping its SuperSonic Boost XT series very recently with a 128 GB variant, Patriot rolled out its even higher capacity variant, at 256 GB (model: PEF256GSRUSB). The rugged standard capped form-factor drive takes advantage of USB 3.0 interface to offer sequential read speeds as high as 150 MB/s, and sequential writes of up to 30 MB/s. Aside from those, the SuperSonic Boost XT 256 GB is every bit identical to the original. It measures 59.7 x 12.2 x 19.8 mm (WxDxH), weighing 13 g. The company didn't give out pricing details.
