If you want a top quality PSU at a good price buy one from Seasonic or a top rated Gold/Plainum model in JonnyGuru or Hardware Secrets testing. Don't be deceived by brand names and claims, use objective scientific tests results to see which PSUs are the best performaing and value.

Johnny Guru reviewed the 1000W fatal1ty, and gave it 8.4, which is pretty reasonable. So you clearly are talking out of thy buttocks. There are better PSU's out there, but that's not to say that this isnt good for some users.

Just about what I was going to say. With the addition that ALL products are god damned marketed for gullible people to varying degrees, it's just up to you to decide where your wallet ends and where your bullshit meter hits red.

If they release a refresh for the 1000W version (that is out of stock everywhere as of now/EOL)... I'm in. The first one was Gold rated a great PSU overall... not excellent, but for 2010 when it came out, it was nothing to sneeze at.

Otherwise Corsair RM1000... for which I hope there's reviews soon.

They are mid tier power supplies priced to match. I beat the crap out of my modxtreme pro 550w pushing it to 550w consistently. It did die, but it was almost out of warranty and ocz sent a 750w back (retail sealed box) and paid for the damaged motherboard. I will buy a decent psu with a good warranty and good rma service any day.
