Meanwhile, users are available to experience 4K ultra resolution gaming now without sacrificing a single detail.

The PowerColor R9 290 OC is built with AMD "Hawaii" GPU, which utilizes the latest GCN architecture, and 2560 stream processors, providing best performance without compromise. Also, The R9 290 OC use the highest standard memory with 4G GDDR5, clocked at 975 MHz of core which is 30 MHz above reference board, together with 1200 MHz memory clocks, offering gamers an immediate framerate gain. Furthermore, sharing the same memory interface, 512-bit, with R9 290X, successfully tackles demanding games titles without effort.

The AMD TrueAudio technology and Mantle plays important roles with the release of R9 290 OC. The AMD TrueAudio technology is the first discrete GPU featuring programmable audio pipeline, delivering a unique audio user experience on PCs. I hope there hasn't been any use of power tools this time around.

EDIT: Thought NDA doesn't lift until the 5th?

What is the overlcock on the powercolor 290X?

I have seen people getting close to 1300MHz under water on this GPU, which is what I am planning to do once mine arrives!

Benchmark Scores Who need bench when everything already fast?
And they'll sell it for $1 extra per mhz

such a rip-off :shadedshu
this reminds me numerous graphics card that have own cooler design and minor-to-unnoticeable clock bump while charge premium for it :shadedshu

I'm not getting any of these GPUs because they're still 28nm, but even if I was, there's no way I'd be getting a stock cooler version :wtf:.

Are you guys gonna add Battlefied 4 in the bench suite? Also, are those "big-bang" drivers that AMD delayed R9 290 for out yet? Or at least will you be benching it with Catalyst 13.11 beta8? :)
