PS3 banned from British prisons

One of the PS3's key features is built in access to wireless internet. Unfortunately, upon review by the British home secretary John Reid, this feature isn't as nice as it sounds. If prisoners were to somehow get a PS3 in their hands, they could use the PS3's wireless powers to send messages to other cell-mates, or worse, to the outside world. And so, to avoid new, high-tech, and extremely-high-cost escape plans, Mr. Reid is banning all PS3's (and PSP's, which share the same capability) from prisons in Britain. It is quite possible other countries could see this as a model, and also lock wireless devices from their prisons.

ok wtf - Prisons need to be a place of punishment - not a dream world where you are fed 3 times a day, free showers, and can spend the rest of the day playing video games. No wonder there are so many rapists/murderers/thieves in the world.

i know someone that spent a strech in prison. Apparently foe £5 a week they could rent a ps2 and all the latesat games off the prison LOL

From 1st hand experience those morons in jail deserve no playstation. I can't even believe they would give thos friggin retarded aminals a ps2.. wtf.. believe this though, no ps3 pr any game counsel can make jail even remotely nice lol.. but it's still ridiculous.. they don't deserve things like that.. and i spent 4 year sin prison so it's not like im being biased.. their dumb ass animals in there.. a bunch of friggin jungle bunnies acting like fools beating people up with locks in socks.. they deserve nothing but food.. and barely that.. Most of them should be in 24/7 confinement if i had anything to say about it... Not everyoone in jail is a scumbag though.. i met some really good people , i know that sounds weird but for instance I knew a guy that was in for unpaid traffic tickets lol.. it's dumb some of the stuff you can get locked up for. me, i was locked up for beating the crap out of a drug deal who was selling drugs and guns to kids.. yea the law still seem fair? lol.. he had it coming and i'd do it all over again.. :laugh:

They started trying to do that in the ones i was in too, but they rioted lol.. seriously they need to keep cigs in jail.. otherwise all those dam monkeys have nothing at all to calm their nerves.. No goals no morales, steal from their own mothers, then rape an 80 year old, their almost all just scumbags..
