Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 Ti GHz Edition Getting Listed

Gigabyte may have not officially announced its GeForce GTX 780 Ti GHz Edition card but the product is now available on the company's website and it can be found (as a pre-order item) on multiple online shops.

Gigabyte's new, uber-end card features an 8-phase power design, a WindForce 3X 450W cooler (boasting three fans, two 8 mm and four 6 mm cooper heatpipes), a reinforced backplate, dual 8-pin PCIe power connectors, 2880 CUDA Cores, a GPU Base Clock of 1085 MHz (Boost is 1150 MHz), a 384-bit memory interface, 3 GB of GDDR5 VRAM set to 7000 MHz, and dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. The GeForce GTX 780 Ti GHz Edition is priced as low as 661 Euro.

Altough this card holds intense amount of power, i still think the price is rather high. 650$ will do justice IMO

That's with 19% VAT (Germany). Translates roughly to 765 USD without VAT. Then you have import taxes which may differ, so I suppose MSRP may be $749 in the US, as the Gigabyte non-GHz Edition is ~$699. Just speculating, though.

recently i increased my long term limit by 67% from $300 to $500 to purchase a high end graphics.. but the prices are back to riddiculous. so im lowering my requirements and buying a $300-ish piece.. definitely not what graphics card makers wanted me to do, lol.. i have never been into luxury market.. especially when the product will be substituted in short 6-12 months with something even more luxurious.

That's not NVIDIA's problem. You're always free to move elsewhere if you don't want to pay extraordinary taxes in the country you're currently residing.

Oh no my friend. IT IS nVidia's problem. Probably you're to little to understand how business works, but you are very naive if you thing a product should cost the same in all countries. You sound like US is the only country in the world without taxes and such. ))) And btw, the purchasing power parity varies from country to country just like the GDP, so you just cannot have the same price.
But this is long talk, maybe some other time...

And saying that if you don't like it just move somewhere else, it's an immature statement to say the least. Also rude...
