This is an R9 270 (non-X). Very misleading name, shame on them.

Can it be flashed? If that were the case, or had a slightly tuned bios, would it really?

Other than the higher (artificial placement) powertune rating, and superfluous pci-e connector to meet spec, what really is the difference between the cards...especially when the 270 (non-x) bios essentially just simply limits the overclocks to 270x stock speed?
