DeepCool Steam Castle Steampunk Themed mATX Case Pictured

Cube-shaped micro-ATX cases tend to all look the same - often black cubical monoliths, DeepCool's latest creation, the Steam Castle, was unmistakable. Its two heatsink-like front pillars, and four top fan vents, give it a steampunk character, which you'll either love or hate. The vents push out heat from the bottom-oriented motherboard tray, which apparently has enough room for tall (30-ish centimeter) graphics cards, and tall CPU coolers (an NH-D14 should fit comfortably). There appears to be room for a standard ATX PSU, and four 3.5-inch / 2.5-inch drive bays. The case features an integrated fan controller for its top four fans, its front-panel connectivity includes two each of USB 3.0 and USB 2.0/1.1 ports, next to HDA front-panel audio jacks. The case will be branded under DeepCool's GamerStorm series.

Looks good to add Reserator 3 from Zalman. I hope they make windows on the sides!

Your comment made me think deep thoughts about the entire DIY PC industry, how so many companies are releasing a plethora of great new stuff that makes it easy and desirable to build your own system, to the point that nobody wants OEM boxes anymore. That may be the real reason for the so-called "Decline of the Desktop PC", they're only counting beige boxes and OEM gaming systems, not the millions of custom built PCs. It's also been said that the heyday of custom building passed several years ago, and now there aren't many companies left making enthusiast parts. I don't know, but I see lots of great stuff I want and more every day, and the quality and look of everything is so much better than in the past. For my part, I can only continue to support this trend by buying as many high-end components as I can afford...
