Haven't heard of "renowned brand" VTX3D before here in the US but after some research they aren't Visiontek or Club3D. Not sure but I think they popped up earlier this decade. They are actually in the TUL family which has a more familiar name Powercolor to other people .

I hate it how AIB partners announce their hardware and then 1-2 months later you see them on the market available for purchase. Don't tease me dammit! We need more R9 290/290X competition so that prices can go down somewhat.

I belive they are a part of TUL corporation, i.e. VTX3D is made by the same guys that make Powercolor cards. VTX3D cards are usually cheaper (in price) than the Powercolor counterparts because they come with less stuff in the box.
