Func, manufacturer of gaming peripherals, is proud to announce a new version of the already popular Func MS-3 as a response to the feedback from fans and followers. Func takes a step up to meet customer needs and introduces Revision 2 of the Func MS-3.

The Func MS-3 has undergone an evolution with updates to both firmware and product construction. The left and right click buttons now rest upon even better mechanical switches, the cord attachment has been reinforced and the scroll wheel construction has been improved.

A firmware upgrade tool is now integrated within the Settings Software, which will make it even easier for us to continually improve the functionality of the Func MS-3 over time.

In addition to performance and reliability updates, the MSRP has been moved to $ 59.95 from $79.95, an improved product at an even better price.

Damn that thing looks comfortable. I'm curious what that orange circle button is on the thumb side though, if it's something like "precision aim" that some FPS mice have, or if it's just a normal hotkey. If it's a normal hotkey, I might have to pick this mouse up, it's exactly what I been looking for to fit my grip.

That looks comfortable and three thumb keys is better than the usual two for fps.

Yeah but ADNS 9500 laser sensor. They need to make a version with the near-perfect 3310 optical sensor to compete with theMionix Naos 7000, The extra thumb buttons are pretty nice though.

^ I think it looks too fat

I have a bigger hand, also thats why I like the way it looks. Normally my pink and ring finger drag on the pad, I'd rather have those 2 nice extensions to rest them on.

That looks comfortable and three thumb keys is better than the usual two for fps.

I play lots of different types of games. I usually like to have 4 hotkey buttons, though 3 would work in a pinch. Even for BF4 I have 4 buttons bound to my mouse, main gun, pistol, 1st equipment, and 2nd equipment. To have 1 of those not bound would just seem awkward to me. It's why I've always been confused why theres either FPS mice or MMO mice. Why can't we see more 4 - 6 hotkey mice (I don't need 15 hotkeys, but 2-3 is just a bit sparse).

Yeah, I never thought of that one...

For me personally in a quick moving game (FPS) having things bound to my mouse is easier to access them. Rather than trying to snap around and using my left hand to rotate through things. And on MMO's I use 1-4 on the keyboard, then the mouse to bind anything else (since going beyond 4 becomes hard to hit with just the left hand while maintaining WASD use). I play a lot of games, trust me I know what I'm looking for.

Benchmark Scores bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o
Well, there is always this cool thing called a 'keyboard'...I heard they have lots of keys :D

i don't think you get why people tend to want a thumb pad on a mouse right? or is it a kind of sarcasm and try to make people appear dumb :D (naahhh don't worry i get it 2nd degree )

in my case for example: i have a G602 with 6 thumb key and 2 additional key on the left click.
in a game like a FPS/MMO unlike a RTS you can't do all on the left hand (or right ... depending if lefty or righty) so deporting some function on the mouse improve the gameplay and comfort

for instance it's harder to press 1 to 6 (let alone F1 to F12) while moving in a mmo or fps on the keyboard than using my thumb, which on the mouse is free, the reaction time is better no matter how you look at it.

after that i also had a Naga and the 2013 version (broke and twin eye sensor bug ... don't want to hear again of Razer after that  ) a G600 who lasted long enough till i resold it to get the G602 so 12 buttons or 6 buttons will always find a use under a thumb

for a RTS it is also an advantage, especially in those who accumulate a lot of shortcuts, not mentioning 3D software or even office software for macro and shortcuts.

Play Arma and you might be running out of keys :).. Although you are right for the most part as PC games have gotten much simpler over the years.

Being left handed and left handed mice continuously failing within a year i bet this one be no different..

Been trying to find a Logitech that i would find that would not be to much of a issue at least then i would have a 3 year warranty ha..
