Your card wont use 6GB of VRAM even if you "play" (slideshow) on dual 4K monitors with 8xMSAA and 1k textures... ;)

No DX12 doe.

DX12 pre-announcement 2 weeks in advance at msdn blog. Immediate whining about lack of DX12 support months before any DX12 titles actually sell. Internet delivers!

you haven't seen what Star Citizen will look like upon release ;) And since I was able to peg the 2Gb on my 6950s pretty easily with Skyrim, I'm betting we'll clear 2Gb pretty handily, 3Gb without much effort, and push the 4Gb. So, a 280 with more than 3Gb tickles me :toast:

What everyone seems to be missing is the fact that many people buy AMD cards for running 3 to 6 monitors in Eyefinity.

I run 3 @ 5760 x 1080. I can certainly see where using more than 4GB vram would be optimal and this only becomes more true with more monitors and higher resolutions.

I am glad to see another 6GB card and I am hoping to see more in the future. A 6GB 290 or 290x would be great as I am badly in need of an upgrade.
