Rockstar Games bit the PC bullet, by announcing Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) for the PC platform, which debuted on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms, last September. Rockstar made this announcement on the sidelines of E3 2014. Alongside the game's Xbox One and PlayStation 4 variants, GTA V for PC, is expected to release in Fall 2014. The studio threw the game up for pre-order. It also showed off a gameplay trailer, which was captured on the PlayStation 4, which reveals more accurate shadows, higher-resolution textures, and lighting effects not seen on the Xbox 360 / PS3 variant.
