How about the 3820? I don't know about you, but I love mine. It's the best thing about skt2011 without breaking the bank. I thought about a 6c chip, but after thinking about it I didn't because even for my case (where I'm not mostly gaming) I decided against it. Just the price alone isn't worth it unless you need those cores and games don't.
Honestly I got my 3820 as a place holder until the 6 core Ivy E came out. When it did.... I saw no reason to up grade. My 3820 was just too good. Went way over kill on my board though. For the light vid work i do(as a hobby) a quad is truly enough.....but that six core temptation is ever present....just because
