I hate the colors, in general it's a pretty ugly board IMHO. It looks a lot like my skt478 board in the attic (not a compliment).

yeah brown pcb is ugly. but its more ugly if you take a look at the board, ECS skips to place some caps on that.

So long as the price is right, who cares about the PCB colour in this segment?

This board could make a (very) budget rig for someone who isnt looking for flashing lights, pretty colours or rainbows via a side window they probably dont have.

Just so long as the price doesnt go above other worthy contenders.... though it probably will be priced in-line with better equipped boards as usual for ECS. :wtf:

3-phase un-heatsinked VRM? I know G3258 has a low TDP but that doesn't inspire much confidence...

I agree, the color is just a step back to the past for me. I can recall my Pentium 2 motherboard looking like this board lol.

Though for the price its not bad, however the power delivery system seems to be quite pitiful in my book. There are alot of other boards I would personally feel much safer with a slightly better setup even mixing with the Pentium. Though the auto overclock to 4.7ghz sounds pretty cool but I guess it would be dependent on the CPU.

I love the color. It is so retro.
Reminds me of the MSI boards of days gone by.
Anything is better then boring black.

I can't see why ECS includes only four USB 3.0 connectors on this board. The chipset supports six, and replacing USB 2.0 ports on the rear panel with USB 3.0 can't be all that more expensive.
