Great, the link offers a comparative table, and there are Zero differences between UD7 and UD5...
"Gaming" seems to be "Creative sound chip" and thats it.

At least not as long as Asus' long and useless comparative tables...

So, does it have Creative Core3D chip or the Realtek one? Seems a bit confusing...

Core3D chip for Gaming version, most likely ALC 1150 for the others.

I wish Gigabyte would show their competitor to Asus thunderbolt expansion pcie card.

I think Asus might have won this round for me on the X99 platform with the Deluxe and/or WS.

For 20 bucks more , you can go from UDF5 to UDF7 and get "no more no less" than 5 cm of extra heatpipe. Kind of things that turn me totally off from a brands philosophy....
