Shortly after rolling out the GeForce 344.11 WHQL drivers following the launch of its GeForce GTX 900 series GPUs, NVIDIA slipped out GeForce 344.16 Beta drivers. The driver only supports GeForce GTX 980 and GTX 970 GPUs, and doesn't come with a working release notes link, and so we're left to guess that NVIDIA found a bug specific to the GTX 980 and GTX 970 that needed immediate fixing, and rushed out the 344.11 Beta.
