And to ensure that they will meet this awe-inspiring goal, Microsoft is going to try to lower the cost of their operating system, as we already reported. This $3 USD Windows Starter Edition, along with a cheaper version of Microsoft Office, will help Microsoft reach poorer countries. Hopefully, with the help of the One Laptop Per Child project, Microsoft will meet their goal.
