What does that even mean? Is there even 2036 contacts on the Intel CPUs? Also, why would they put such a low quality image on their website. I wonder if MSI's web designer is having a laugh.

Yeha... so get this... CPUs have contacts...and most boards don't use all the contacts.

And just because the OC socket works good on one board, and adds uncore...doesn't mean it will on another. I got a few OC socket board that can't clock worth a damn. MSI is pretty late to the game here, so I have high hopes for this board. I had been asking for such a board since X99 launched, actually. Alas, I didn't get a sample of my own.

Name it X99 Hello Kitty, and watch people queue up like Apple iZombies to buy it.

Sure, but then MSI would have to change the board's color scheme to pink and white.

"Godlike" is an Unreal Tournament killstreak award.
And a kill streak announcement in League of Legends.

But really, I agree. I think it's silly with the whole "HERO" stuff on the ASUS motherboards too.

Come on, it was corny enough with the GoPro using that branding. Come up with your own damn words mobo manufacturers!

It must be really awkward when two gaming-oriented manufacturers use the same red-black color scheme.

Gigabyte, ASUS, MSI, ASRock... all red/black gaming products. You're welcome for that. :p

Don't forget Biostar and EVGA have red/black as well...

I can deal with it when people have a single color in the case it can look dam out right awesome, the part i don't get is the red theme of the motherboard with all these color options.

They should of done it all white with the color options lol.

And they have to put names like this on it so it sounds like it's a $300 motherboard.

Only thing i like about it is how many SATA and USB connections it has the res seems not needed for my needs even more so price tag.

Little Devil sounds better to me even more so if it's red.

I wishing we could have the X38 days back with naked ass copper which is the only time i like any motherboards

What if the board really IS white plastic, and that colour you see is actually a product of the LEDs under the "cooling", and can all be changed to whatever colour you like?

BUt alas, it is not.

Can someone please make "Killer NIC" go away? What is it anyway? Driver Level QOS ... awesome if you have more than one device connected ... because it can't do anything about some other device uploading pictures to the cloud or whatever...
