Thermaltake, an industry leader in computer chassis, thermal solutions, and power supply units, today has unveiled the new Core V1 Snow Mini ITX Chassis with a 200 mm fan in the front panel. Users can create their own personal setup with the smart interchangeable side panels, these smart panels can be flipped accordingly to showcase the superior liquid cooling or superb airflow system. The new Core V1 Snow Mini ITX Chassis is small, but houses a powerful cooling system and various overclocking components!

Chambers Concept
Core V1 Snow is divided into two main chambers: the upper chamber is made for cooling performance and efficiency, and the lower chamber is made for PSU and cable management. With the aid of the removable 2.5"/3.5" drive device racks, users can enjoy the maximum interior space for advanced cooling performance or liquid system build.

Advanced Ventilation
Core V1 Snow promises excellent cooling ability with various mounting points to supports all types of cooling systems, including DIY/AIO liquid cooling systems and air cooling units. A large 200 mm fan is preinstalled in the front, along with two optional 80 mm turbo fans at the rear, guaranteed to hold up any type of gaming system.

Interchangeable Side Panel
Symmetrical panels allow users to build the system with personality. Users can change the panels for the best viewing presentation or better cooling performance. A removable PSU dust filter and adjustable shockproof rubbers built in the bottom panel prolongs the PSU usage.

Handy I/O Ports
Designed with convenience and cleanness in mind, Core V1 Snow has built in dual USB 3.0 and HD audio connectors together with the Power and Reset Button on the side of front panel. This not only keeps the panel clean and neat, it also grants direct and easy access for external devices.

Great Expansion in Compact Size
Core V1 Snow is designed for high-end gaming system compatibility, gamers can easily install up to 4 data storage devices with the modular drive racks and an up to 260mm dual expansion VGA slot, with a tower CPU cooler offering a maximum of 140 mm, and a high wattage PSU up to 180 mm, while still providing 80 mm cable management space.

This totally reminds me of the TT Lanbox that I had. Just smaller. What's the water cooling in it? Some sort of custom thing or an AiO ?

So what's different about it apart from the colour?
The V1 was released ages ago.

I bought the black version of this a few months back and it's a sweet little itx case. It is a bigger itx case, but if you want to cram a lot into it you'll like it. I have a 4770 with a
GIGABYTE GA-B85N Phoenix-WIFI that has orange pulsing leds around it with 16gb ram, 240 intel 530, MSI GAMING GTX 970, and a 500w psu. It's my little project.. lol It has served me well for the 130+ days staying in a hotel working out of town. :toast: I like these new Thermaltake cases and I've never like Thermaltake in the past. I've always bought Cooler Master. :toast:

Is it just me, but... all those really "holey" (or perforated) cases sound like an ugly dirty dustball in about a few months? Maybe I'm completely wrong, but IMHO it's kind of impossible to make any kind of controlled airflow and/or positive pressure in those kind of cases...

other than that, it looks rather pretty with this pump and coolant color.

Could always go crazy with dust filters at absolute worst. Can't imagine you'd impede the cooling all that much.

Yea, that's the only thing buddy I have to blow off the front of the case quiet often, because the 200mm fan you can see a perfect 200mm circle of dust on the front over time... lol But I can't argue with only paying $49.99 and it hold a beefy atx psu and a VGA with the length up to 260mm (My GTX970 fits fine) and it supports 140mm rad liquid cooling or up to a 140mm tower cooler. It has a nice ssd/hdd bracket that will hold 2 drives which looks really nice. It has pretty good cable management as well. I'd stack this up against the $100+ cases.

Also, I've not had any issues with airflow. It has plenty of ventilation. I'm not even using the 2x 80mm on the back. The 200mm fan does a good job and it's not loud. My GTX970 fans don't turn on until I start gaming. You can see them really well through the side hole vents. The SSD/HDD bracket is on the other side and you can see them through the side hole vents as well. I'll post some pics if I have time when I'm home later today. :toast:

small cute cases.,...

i hate that crap of Snow edition, i wish thermaltake some day will implement the same mouse/ keyboard color schemes on their cases, for example "battle green", red/black grey or the the sexy black / silver red used on the level 10m mouse….

they could have better ideas, also better products…

Optimal computer case is a rectangular shape ... cube included. There's only so many ways you can do it... oh... and computer cases need some holes in it for ventilation... that's like also universal thing mostly. OU... and all the PSU-s and motherboards and case fans and cooling radiators and almost every single item that you are going attach to your case are also standard size things... so the screwholes and stuff must also all be in the same places... whining about any copying in PC case design is like... complaining that ... OOOOOMMMMMMGGGG .,.. ANOTHER car with 4 wheels. or OOOOMGGGG ANOTHER COMPANY WHO MAKES FORKS .... OR TOOTHPICKS.
