Razer, a world leader in connected devices and software for gamers, today announced the NZXT S340 - Designed by Razer PC case. The chassis is the latest product to launch from the "Designed by Razer" licensing program, an initiative that provides for third-party production and sale of Razer-designed and -branded PC cases. Razer opened the door to collaborations with case manufacturers last year. "Designed by Razer" candidates are subject to vetting by the award-winning Razer design and engineering team prior to approval. Once greenlit, the joint enterprise mobilizes Razer's design expertise and product engineering sensibilities.

The NZXT S340 - Designed by Razer PC case features an all-steel chassis with Razer signature green triple-headed snake logo on the front panel and the cable management bar. The compact form of the case sits two inches below competing towers with a Razer green power LED and underglow. This latest in the line of cobranded cases offers Razer fans another premium NZXT case with distinct Razer design sensibilities to build into a beast and connect to an arsenal of Razer peripherals that will intimidate any opponent in-game or in real life.

"We had great success with our first collaboration with NZXT and the H440 - Designed by Razer PC case," says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO. "Our team couldn't wait to get started on the next project that brings premium NZXT PC cases with the iconic Razer design to PC gamers everywhere."

"Razer is a premier gamer brand whose influence on gaming technology is unparalleled," says Johnny Hou, CEO of NZXT. "Partnering with their team of gaming-minded engineers and industrial designers has helped drive us internally to push the boundaries of what is possible inside a PC case."

The NZXT H440 - Designed by Razer was the first licensed desktop case for Razer. Razer's history in the systems space includes its award-winning Razer Blade line of laptops and the Razer Edge tablet, which won an unprecedented three Best of CES awards at its debut. The company's fully modular Project Christine concept set a future standard for desktop PC design, earning the official CES "Best PC" award in 2014.

you want to ruin a Logitech mouse with a Razer branding? (well ... i would be the only way to have a good Razer mouse tho ...) or you want a S340 with a Logitech branding? Which would be more logical ... (no pun intended), but with the previous logo ... not the new one, i hope.

Let the blind Razer fanboys have their $100 case. The rest of us can rest easy knowing that the regular S340 saves you $40, and the regular H440 is where it's at.

Razer fanboys will never cease to preach about Razer until they get their hands on a Logitech keyboard/mouse that lasts them 10 years; until then, all rhetoric is futile.

It's Razer, it's gonna break.

Jokes aside same ol shit with the PSU placement, sure i know a lot like it down there but if i ever got water cooler for my GPU the last thing i want sitting under flowing water is the PSU.

Other wise the outside of the case looks nice but are they really real pics of the case ?, they look computerized to me.

Shots are obviously a render/heavily photoshopped but both the standard S340 and Razer H440 have been out for a while, just put them together and you get this. By far my biggest complaint is that the Razer logo is illuminated on the PSU shroud in the H440 version and visible through the side window. You don't get that on this one.

And for your comment about the liquid cooler + PSU placement, I've actually had this happen in my system and my PSU was fine. Liquid coolers tend not to fail catastrophically, so the leak is slow and the stuff has time to flow down around the outside of the power supply and actually dries decently quickly because of the heat. As long as your PSU is mounted with the fan down you're a lot safer. Trends are trends and top-mounted PSUs are a ship that honestly sank a few years ago.

My point is show the real thing or not show it at all, Looks nicely finished going by those pics but they not real and thinking why the hell they do this BS is the case really that bad.

My comment is 100% valid it may not happen often but why temp fate in the first place. As for top mounted PSU's well they will be back as all it is to them is a trend.

Yeah real smart lets put the PSU next to what the possibly the hottest dam thing in the case. Yet another reason i kept my case as this bottom placed PSU crap is just sheep crap.

Dear AsRock, I am very worried for my PSU now. I have a 7990 and an MZXT S340 case. Will my power supply overheart? Can you please help with suggestion for much better case?

Many thank you!

what about put a fan infront of psu, theres a space for placing a fan, it could reduce the heat from psu

As micropage7 you have a placement for 1-2 fans just have them blowing air towards the graphics card, only other thing is that the the case is made to have pulled though the bottom so as long as you point the large fan of the PSU to the bottom of the case it should be a none issue.

I'm sorry micropage7 I was just trolling. I helped to create the original S340, although I am no longer at NZXT, (check the profile). There is absolutely no concern about heat soak from the GPU to the PSU, I'm not quite sure what AsRock is on about. I've completed two significant personal builds in the S340 and I personally believe it to be the best case under $400.
