ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced Poseidon GTX 980 Ti, a super-cool new graphics card with an exclusive hybrid thermal solution that enables extremely efficient cooling by either water or air, and ASUS Auto-Extreme technology with Super Alloy Power II components for premium quality and reliability.

Powered by the latest GeForce GTX 980 Ti graphics-processing unit (GPU), ROG Poseidon GTX 980 Ti features GPU boost clock speeds of up to 1203 MHz in gaming mode and 1228 MHz in OC mode. I have read a few reviews... I am not willing to spend $725x2 for a small jump. but if I did I would get these. I love that I could attach it to my custom loop with little effort and the cooling is great.

TPU should think about some review i7-5820K or i7-5930K with ASUS GTX980Ti Poseidon on EKWB Predator 360. Mostly because of temps of CPU and GPU.

I plan to buy EKWB Predator for i7-5820K and I would love TITAN X Hydro Copper, but if not than 980Ti.
I must install him on top of case because no place in inside for 360 radiator, because of that I say I would love to see temps.

ASUS GTX980Ti Strix in Serbia cost almost 850e... compare with price I can import EVGA TITAN X SC 1050E.
Someone will say 980Ti Strix with 1200 clock is stronger than TITAN X, yes, but not than TITAN X with 150 MHz higher fabric clock.
Second very important option is that it's completely different situation if you want now to sell GTX780Ti and TITAN Black...Everyone will pay even 200 more for TITAN Black, and they had same number of CUDA. That mean for 24 months If I sell TITAN X SC for only 100e more than 980Ti I can say that I payed TITAN X only 100e more and for 100e higher price I used card with full potential, double size of video memory and same with pretty high fabric clock.
Someone will say You don't need 12GB, OK but if you don't need that doesn't mean you should use with less memory only because you don't need. When someone decide to buy TITAN X for 2 years, as single card or for his SLI, he will need 12GB. People forgot that in some situation is better solution TITAN X simply because 980Ti is not some 550-600e card...TITAN X compare to 980Ti give you warranty that if NVIDIA launch card with 16GB video memory and games start to use 7-8GB on 1440p on huge 34" monitors you are still in game with 12GB only if you disable some filters because less GPU power.

dont get your point on the video card, what do you have now and what do you want? do game on 4K, 1440, or 1080?
titan's= is pretty much money for gaming,
980ti =a beast... for sure...
980 = stil brave enough for 1440 and 4K
970 = best card for 1080...

personally i will get a 980ti, for the righ you have....

i7-5820k is bad for gaming, I just retuned one and ordered a i5-6600k instead. It stuttered a lot in most games when all cores are active and I have a g-sync monitor! I tried 6,5 and 4 active cores, hypertreading on and off, and the best resutes were on 4 cores hyper-treading off. It's a sad story, but true. Don't listen to bullshit reviews, I tested that muself. I also tested one active core on wprime vs one core of i5-2500k, both at 4.4ghz, and i5-2500k is faster, not mentionning it can run at higher freaquency. in my testing the best choice is 4 cores, the fastest signle thread CPU, and currently it's i5-6600k.

My 5820K doesn't have those issues. Its not the CPU...

The 2500K isn't faster than a 5820K at the same clocks.

I am not sure why you got those results, but, there was something else other than the CPU causing those issues.

I just got that z170x-ud5 motherboard with a i5-6600k in replacement for my i7-5820k and x99-ud4 motherboard, I didn't even have to reinstall windows. I got it running within 2 hours, everything watercooled. Not a stutter, same windows install, same games installed, i7-5820k stutters and that unfamous i5-6600k doesn't. How do you explain that? By my calculations, todays games aren't made for 6 cores and G-sync, they a made for mr. Everybody Majority 4 cores. I am selling my x99-ud3 on E-bay bytheway, luckely I was able to return that i7-5820k. I also tested i7-5820k on windows 7 and 10, no luck with g-sync, still quite a bit of stutter. It's a shame really, it looks so much better made than my i5-6600k
