I don't see why they just don't make the HS out of copper instead of a shit ton of Aluminium it just makes these cards look like they need to make an appointment with Jenny Craig

iirc, using copper to distribute heat to aluminum fins works just as well as copper fins. Seems like I remember this discussion about heatpipe tower CPU coolers too and that was the general consensus.
